The Animated Series' Creator Is Aware of Fans' Second Season Bingo Cards — With Some Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video soon, and fan speculation has been intense.

The first season introduces a large cast of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other with songs about their clashes, and establishes tense rivalries and emotional bonds that fuel audience devotion.

The community's expectations for the new season vary widely, but certain threads emerge over and over: Will Angel Dust break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the binding agreement affecting Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator commented earlier this year. "But I believe that me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator says her big-picture plan is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have received approval by the production companies, which finance the series.

That could imply fans have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast the new season progresses, and how many of what they're anticipating happens this season.

"I believe people are going to get a lot out of it," the creator notes. "There are several debut moments. I think we receive some incredible disclosures, some really cool backstories, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the previously silent cast members."

She's certainly aware of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a couple people make a bingo card about season 2," she mentions. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've already completed some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
